The first time I tried black mamba it was while setting up our table at a convention in Toronto. My buddy pulls out this odd looking massive mouth mason jar. Never seed a lid so big before. Immediately I was curious and grabbed it to look inside.
Upon opening the jar I instantly fell in-love. All of these baseball sized gooey purple nugs that were clearly too big to fit in a regular mason jar, hence the large mouthed one.
It was such an incredible strain (being grown organically by someone with insane skills also helped) burned through mine real fast and never saw it again. Until we got that black mamba clone from @djakeyley. And growing it proved it to be everything we had hoped. Beautiful rock hard baseball sized nugs, beautiful tight node structure. intoxicating berry scent, which is odd despite the mint chocolate mother. It truly was a perfect plant with very minimal training.
Macmamba grows best as a multi topped bush just like its mother. Expect to see super greasy, super thick branching, long side branches where many times the very bottom branches will reach the top of the canopy. A nice candelabra shape is easily formed with very minimal training. Extremely pleasant berry aroma climbs out of the jar and infects your sinuses with an almost euphoric scent. Expect rock hard, greasy, heavy nugs. We truly are very proud of this strain.
Before having the technology we do now, at the time we decided the only way to improve this strain was to improve trichome coverage because even though it checks that box, there are other strains check that box harder. Perfect time to use the mac1v2 reversal. The results are outstanding.
Each and every plant grown, by ourselves and many testers, was even more beautiful that the black mamba.
MACMAMBA is a snake you want in your grass… or garden, whichever you prefer. Also this snake in the grass contains a fair amount of nerolidol-1 which is an anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, anti-parasitic. This terpene actually makes antibiotics work better in our bodies, and a million other functions. But the coolest part about this terpene is most of the plants that contain it are plants that would be broken down into an essential oil and then used for pest management. So this strain is especially tough against bugs.
Main terpenes
- Nerolidol-1
- Humulene
- Beta-carophyllene
- Geraniol
- Terpinene
- Terpinolene
- Cis-ocimene
